How do I request a male nanny?
You can fill the nanny request form on the Families page, phone 0207 096 1059 to speak to a consultant or send an email to , and we will be in touch with you shortly to discuss your needs.
Do you charge a fee for registering as a parent or nanny?
No! Mr Nanny never charge parents or nannies for registering with us, and we advise anyone to be cautious of any agency that does. We are confident that we can make our placements without having to rely on registration fees. Our fee is only for a successful placement of a candidate. We do not charge to view CVs or nannies.
Are the male nannies experienced or qualified?
Both. While we greatly value qualifications we also know the importance of experience. Our male nannies must possess a good character, love children and needs to express good qualities such as honesty, reliability, conscientiousness, intelligence, capability and security. Typically our male nannies have at least two years nanny experience.
How do I know the nanny is right for me?
All the male nannies are personally interviewed and closely matched to your requirements that you specify. For added peace of mind, we have an agency guarantee in place and you will not be billed if we can’t find you the right nanny. What if the placement doesn't work out?
At Mr Nanny , we try our best to make sure we find the nanny most suited to your family. However, for added peace of mind we have an agency guarantee where should your position not work out, we will find you another nanny at no extra charge first, or refund our fee on a pro-rata basis if we can't find one. What is a CRB?
A CRB stands for the Criminal Records Bureau. This is a police check performed by the Home Office which all nannies need in order to work with children. All our nannies put forward for interview have had a recent CRB check. We also have a CRB checking facility available for nannies.
Can I register as a male nanny?
Mr Nanny welcome experienced male nannies to register. Some of the requirements include:
- You will need to have at least 2 years experience
- 2 referees relevant to your experience
- An up to date CV with no gaps
- Ability to work in the UK (with appropriate Visa or Work Permit)
- An enhanced CRB disclosure or be willing to apply for one.

Do I need a visa or work permit?
Like any work in the UK, you will need to have a visa or work permit if you are from any country outside of the EU. Unfortunately, we do not deal with visa or immigration applications directly.
